Today I my Light and Optics teacher John Clapp gave a tremendously helpful lecture on general sketching on location. He showed us some amazing pencil sketches by Arthur Guptill who uses a pencil like its a brush, simplifying complex scenes effortlessly. Check him out!
I had to go home and give it a shot. Here's a sketch from my window of my neighbors house.
Also I completed my current sketchbook finally so this is the first page of my new one I picked up today yay! :)
