Oil Portrait

I painted this a few weeks ago at a figure painting session in palo alto. I never liked how it came out but there are details in there that I like.

#291

So much inspiration all mushed into 1 painting: Leyendecker brush strokes, Last Of Us the game, and learning to portrait paint in oils.

I did a 3 hour portrait oil painting from life today but it came out looking like crap but i learned a ton so I decided to do another painting from imagination to see what i learned. I ended up painting Joel from the Last of Us kinda...

Bill Perkins Workshop!

I attended a 2 day workshop this weekend with Bill Perkins, and I honestly learned more about painting in 2 days then I have in the past two years.

Some of these look wonky but they're in chronological order and I think I improved a lot. over the course of the workshop

All between 40m-1h in oils

Ani129a Final Model: Megara

Here is my final for my Ani 129a modeling class. We worked on modeling a character for the 2nd half of the semester. I chose Meg from Disney's Hercules! Using some ortho's from Living Lines Library, I came up with this! I put in countless hours of work strugling with maya and zbrush the whole way but I'm very proud of the final result!
